Speaking during the opening of the premier Sports event Dr Doren Odhiambo the CEO Kenya Academy of Sports welcomed the delegates with a clarion call that Sports should seens  as a viable career path and a driver of economic growth, national unity, and youth empowerment.

The Chief Guest Hon. Jeremiah Mwangi the Permanent Secretary for Sports called for close collaboration between federations and KAS in nurturing talent.

   ” We are all in unison in acknowledging that while government resources may be limited, strategic partnerships is what will ve the game changer in realization of the aspirations of the

Sport fratenity as envisioned in the core mandate of Kenya Academy of Sports” Said PS.

These Statement  was supported by KAS Council Chairman Thuo Cege who commended the collaborative efforts driving Kenya’s sports development forward.

” As a council we are very keen to work with sports federations in development and nurturing sports in kenya with keen interest in the youth” Said KAS council Chairman.
