DEFCROS Summit Kenya headlined in Nairobi to prepare the Country to aspects of collaboration on issues of public safety and defense.
The event brought toghther a diverse group of stakeholders, including government ministers, military leaders, and professionals from various industries.
Speaking during the Event Kristijan Ilovaca said that the primary objective is to facilitate discussions and collaborations on critical defense and security issues relevant to the African continent. He also highlingted numerous procurement oppprtunities available in US security and defense infrastructure highlighting some practical examples.
“As Kenya gears to host the Africa Championship Football tournament next year,there is a geat need for public safety taking into concern this is a very huge event that will bring alot of visitors to Kenya” he said Adding that they were willing to have colobaration with Kenyan Authorirties to offer their expertise in public safety in a much changing security scenarios.
Dunja Ilovaca Chief Executive Officer Sky Fort Systems gave presentation on opprpriate collobaration between industry,universities,governments and private sectors.
On behalf of humanitarian sector Kali Morgan Chief Executive Officer MX4 Rescue adressed realities of combating human trafficking highliting the operational challenges faced by frontline organisations,emphasising importance of coordinated actions between governments,humanitarian agencies and private sector.
The insights shared and partnerships forged at the summit can contribute significantly to strengthening defense capabilities and enhancing overall security resilience in Africa.
