The Kenya Publishers Association have today posthumously inducted the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga into its Hall of Fame.

The ceremony concided with the Annual Nairobi International Book Fair. According to the Association Raila Odinga was honored posthumously for his significant contributions to writing.

Kenya Publishers Association also lauded The Late Rt Hon. Raila Odinga for believing and promoting the localy publishers fratenity.

This monumental and significant ceremony was graced by his daughter,  Hon.Winnie Odinga, represented the family at the event and accepted the recognition during the book fair’s opening Ceremony at the Sarit Center.

Other great Kenyans honored alongside Rt Hon. Raila Odinga were Veteran author and publisher Malkiat Singh and reading-culture advocate Lily Nyariki.
