3rd East Africa Business and Investment Summit kicks off in Nairobi

 

The 2 days East Africa Business and Investment Summit which brings toghther East Africa Minestrial Council,Business Industrial Executives and Devolopment Partners has headlined in Nairobi Iconic Safaripark hotel.

“While giving the official opening speech Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for East African community who also chairs the Council of East Africa Ministers Hon. Beatrice Askul Moe siad that the 3rd East Africa Business and Investment Summit offers unprecedented opportunities as we gradually shift to driving Pan-African market. “This conference is an important platform for generating steps to transform our region” Said Hon Beatrice Askul Moe.

On his part the Chairperson of East Africa Jumuiya Hon John Lual said “We must position EAC as Africa’s premier trade & investment hub, a Global East Africa Brand, in line with the East African Business Council’s vision of a borderless East Africa for business and investment that delivers shareCouncil of East d prosperity”.

His sentiments were echoed by the Chief Executive Officer of the East Africa Business Council Mr. Ahmed Farah who said ‘Regional integration is East Africa’s most practical route to resilience and prosperity”.

During the opening ceremony,Renowned Industrialist in East Africa region Dr. Manu Chandaria who was the Pioneer Chairperson of East Africa Business Council,was Feted with a lifetime Award for his extraordinary service to the East Africa region in advancing Manufacturing sector.

The 2 days High level summit is set to have rich panel discussions in topics ranging from banking,tourism, logistics and insurance which are the major Business Investments that are the catalyst of the much anticipated East Africa Common Market.
