REELFORGE AND ONES&ZEROS ANNOUNCE DIGITAL ADVERTISING MONITORING PARTNERSHIP ON PREMIUM SITES, A FIRST IN Sub-Saharan Africa

NAIROBI, Kenya, August 9th 2018__Reelforge Media Intelligence, the leading media
monitoring and research company in Nairobi, Kenya has announced a partnership with Ones
& Zeros Ltd., to introduce online advertising monitoring to the advertising industry in Kenya.
Speaking during the signing of the partnership agreement, Reelforge Managing Director
Sammy Lusiola said that the product is set to change the game in the digital intelligence front
in the country, noting that the product is a first in the Sub-Saharan Africa region.

“Kenya is the first Sub-Saharan country to have an online advertising monitoring tool, and as
the market leader, Reelforge is proud to be the first to introduce the product to its clients. With
this product, marketers will be able to monitor their digital campaigns, generate reports on
demand, and receive alerts on their campaigns’ interactions, as well as monitor their
competitors’ activities and marketing strategies,” said Mr. Lusiola.

He added that the service will be scaled up in Q4 2018 to monitor adverts targeting internet
users visiting websites via mobile phones. “This is especially important for the Kenyan market
seeing that latest data from the Communications Authority shows that of the 36.1 million
internet subscriptions in the country, 35.8 million are mobile data subscriptions. It means that
most Kenyans access the internet using their mobile phones and this tool monitors the relevant
access points,” added Sammy.
Ones and Zeros Managing Director John Muthee said that with the increased spending in the
digital space, Kenyan digital marketers can now track their digital campaigns through the
service.

“Beyond digital marketers targeting their potential clients based on their habits and interests
online, it is imperative that marketers measure the success of their campaigns to be sure that

The addition of the digital advertising tracking service gives Reelforge a 360-degree approach

provides.
The service is available to all digital marketers with digital campaigns and those looking to
conduct competitor monitoring. The service will be offered in Kenya and then rolled out to the
rest of the East African region where Reelforge has visible presence.
