Africa Employers Summit Meet in Nairobi

Africa Employers Summit 2025 was held in Mara Ole Sereni hotel Nairobi,under the theme ‘Empowering Business to Advance Social Justice’ also culminates as the 40th Anniversary Celebrations.

Speaking while he officially opened the Summit,Kenya’s Deputy President Hon.Kithure Kindiki called upon the summit to come up with innovative ways that can help adress the unemployment particularly amongst the youth in the African continent in a way that promotes fairness and justice in remunerations.

His sentiments were echoed by the Chairman of National Industrial Authority NITA Hon. Aden Noor Ali,speaking on the sidelines of the Summit,called upon kenyans particularly the youth to embrace Recognition of Prior Learning Certification.

“The Government of Kenya has put an elaborate training program targeting people in various fields with basic skills to horn their skills in the program known as recognition of prior learning RPL” said Hon.Noor.

Hon. Aden added that through the intervention of President Willam Ruto,the fees have been reduced to a manageable figure of ksh. 5,000 per training.

These sentiments were supported by NITA Director Industrial Training and Skills Development, Ms Jane Kamau who said that the institution has recieved support from World Bank,International Labour Organisation ILO among other bodies to offer Recognition of prior Learning particularly amongst the youth.
