25th Nairobi International Education Fair Kicks Off in Nairobi

The 25th Nairobi International Education Fair the leading platform for institutions of higher learning and education stakeholders to present career pathways and education opportunities to prospective learners, school leavers, parents/ guardians and members of the community who wish to develop their skills or improve their employment prospects, has kicked off in Nairobi.
Speaking during the opening ceremony the Chairman of Express Communication Limited Mr. Samwel Masara welcomed the participants to this year’s event which he promised of an interactive event where participant will have sessions and also visit the different booths with participation from as far as United Arab Emirates and India among other international exhibitors.

The Lukenya University DVC Infrastructure Ms Mutheu Kasanga who represented the participating Exhibitors underscored the need of such forums where learners and general public have such interactions adding that the exhibitors will take participants through different sessions where they will have presentations at the plenary hall.

The Permanent Secretary of Higher Education Dr. Beatrice Inyangala in her speech read by the head of partnerships underscored the need of constant engagements such as the education fair that was taking place as a great step towards improving standards in Higher education in Kenya, stating that the Government of Kenya was committed towards improving of standards in our higher education.

The friendly and informal character of the event provides a welcome and unique environment for employers, career advisors, education and training providers to communicate directly with prospective learners, high school students, college and university graduates.

The event also offers an experiential opportunity for participants to interact with universities and the private sector. NIEF is expertly put together by Express Communications Ltd, an organization dedicated and focused on addressing the issues of skills development, career pathways and assisting students to make informed career choices by providing a platform for young people to interact with institutions of higher learning, career guidance consultants and industry representatives.
